In recent years, the School of Business and Science at the University of Akureyri has offered research-based Master’s studies in both the Faculty of Natural Resources Sciences and Faculty of Business Administration where the curriculum of the Master’s studies is tailored to each and every student. During the academic year 2021-2022, the course offering in the Faculties will be greatly increased and in total, 13 new courses and 5 older courses at Master’s level will be offered.

It will be possible to apply to Master’s programme in Natural Resource Sciences (Biotechnology and Fisheries Sciences), Fisheries Resource Management or Business Administration. Furthermore, the MARBIO programme is offered; this is a joint Nordic Master’s programme in production and utilisation of marine bio-resources jointly provided by three Nordic Universities in addition to UNAK: Hólar University, University of Gothenburg and Nord University in Bodö, Norway.

The new and older courses that will be offered during the academic year 2021-2022 are the following:

Faculty of Business Administration:

Joint courses of both Faculties:

Most of the courses are taught in English and will be as other courses offerings from UNAK be taught in a flexible learning format.
