Business administration is a comprehensive field of study. The diversity of the studies opens doors for students, whether they are interested in further studies or in going directly into the job market. Business education is advantageous in various parts of society, whether students choose to work for businesses, institutions or associations.
Undergraduate studies
Students in business administration can choose from three areas of emphasis:
- Business Administration - Management and Finance, B.S., 180 ECTS (Icelandic)
- Business Administration - Management and Marketing, B.S., 180 ECTS (Icelandic)
- Business Administration with a minor in Fisheries Science, B.S., 180 ECTS (Icelandic)
Students in Business Administration or Fisheries Science can add a degree in the other field, enabling them to graduate with two degrees.
Graduate studies
Students in research-based Master’s studies in Business Administration acquire a deeper understanding and more comprehensive knowledge in their area of emphasis. They work under the guidance of an instructor on research in their field.
