Inaugural Arctic Institutes Fair

On Friday, 26 September, HA hosted the inaugural Arctic Institutes Fair, bringing together representatives from the various Arctic organizations based on the HA university campus. Each organization presented its work through booths and short talks, offering students, staff, and visitors an opportunity to explore the diverse research and initiatives being conducted and coordinated here in Akureyri.

The event also opened a special exhibition on the life and work of Stefan Vilhjálmsson, giving attendees deeper insight into his work and legacy.

More than 50 participants joined the Fair, with participants from as far as Ghana to Finland. The wide range of perspectives sparked lively discussions and exchanges.
