About NHESG 2026

The 45th Nordic Health Economists’ Study Group (NHESG) Meeting aims to bring together researchers working in the field of health economics as well as scholars from the Nordic countries and beyond.

Important update:

  • NHESG 2026 has moved to Reykjavík and will take place at the University of Iceland
  • The main conference information is now available on the University of Iceland conference website. 
  • However, this University of Akureyri page remains the official abstract submission page for NHESG 2026 and the deadline has been extended to Thursday, 9 April 2026.

Call for Abstracts

We invite you to submit an abstract for presentation at NHESG 2026. Abstracts should be a maximum of 500 words, including:

  • Objectives
  • Data and Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusions

Submission Deadline

The abstract submission deadline has been extended to Thursday, 9 April 2026.

Files must be less than 2 MB. Allowed file types: rtf doc docx. NHESG 2026 Organizing Committee is authorized to reject incomplete abstracts.
