Helga María Director of Finance and Analysis

Helga is well known to us, she has been with us since 2021 as project manager for data analysis and finance and has been a substitute for the director. She previously worked for the AFE- Eyþing- SSNE group and worked for five years in the Ministry of Finance and Welfare. Helga holds a BS in Business Administration and an MSc in Economics from HÍ.

Helga grew up in Varmaland in Borgarfjörður, she is married to Hlynur Ásgeirsson and they have three children.

Director Harpa Halldórsdóttir will become a part-time financial analyst from May 1st when Helga María takes over as Director.

We welcome Helga María to the role of director, which she knows quite well, as she has replaced Harpa as director in her absence. At the same time, we thank Harpa for her hard work and look forward to working with her in her new role.

The job of the Data Analysis and Budget Manager will be announced shortly.
