Annual Teaching Conference
welcome to an anuall teaching conference!
The Centre of Teaching, Learning and IT is holding its eleventh annual teaching conference on the 26th of March from 13:00 – 16:30.
The conference talks will be in either Icelandic or English.
The conference's theme is the same as it has been for the past years: What is good University teaching?
Call for Abstracts!
We invite proposals for 10–12-minute presentations, in either English or Icelandic, from university teachers that relate to the conference theme. The presentations will be delivered in a roundtable format and will provide a platform for professional discussion. The conference will be held online (via Zoom).
We especially encourage submissions on:
- Changes to teaching, assessment, or curricula in response to artificial intelligence
- Hybrid learning approaches
- Presentations of teaching development projects
- Innovations in teaching or assessment
- Experiences with the implementation of new technologies, such as software or artificial intelligence, in teaching
The deadline for submissions is on the 13th of March 2026.
Applicants will be notified of acceptance on the 16th of March 2026.
