45th Nordic Health Economists´ Study Group (NHESG) meeting

The 45th Nordic Health Economists’ Study Group (NHESG) Meeting is an international health economics conference bringing together researchers and scholars from the Nordic countries and beyond.

The NHESG meeting provides a forum for the presentation and discussion of health economics research, including applied and theoretical work, health policy analysis, and methodological advances. Contributions at all stages of the research process are welcome. The official language of the conference is English.

• NHESG 2026 has moved to Reykjavík and will take place at the University of Iceland, 19–21 August 2026
• The main conference information is now available on the University of Iceland conference website.
• Abstract submission remains on the University of Akureyri site, and the deadline has been extended to Thursday, 9 April 2026.

Call for Abstract

We invite researchers to submit abstracts for presentation at the 45th Nordic Health Economists’ Study Group (NHESG) meeting. Abstracts are welcome on all topics within health economics, including work at any stage of the research process.

• Abstracts should be no longer than 500 words and include objectives, data and methods, results, and conclusions
• Abstract submission deadline: Thursday, 9 April 2026

Abstracts must be submitted via the University of Akureyri online submission form.
