The 45th Nordic Health Economists’ Study Group (NHESG) Meeting is an international health economics conference bringing together researchers and scholars from the Nordic countries and beyond.
The conference will take place 19–21 August 2026 at the University of Akureyri, Iceland, and is hosted by the University of Akureyri in collaboration with the University of Akureyri Research Centre (RHA).
The NHESG meeting provides a forum for the presentation and discussion of health economics research, including applied and theoretical work, health policy analysis, and methodological advances. Contributions at all stages of the research process are welcome. The official language of the conference is English.

Call for Abstract
We invite researchers to submit abstracts for presentation at the 45th Nordic Health Economists’ Study Group (NHESG) meeting. Abstracts are welcome on all topics within health economics, including work at any stage of the research process.
- Abstracts should be no longer than 500 words and include objectives, data and methods, results, and conclusions
- Abstract submission deadline: Monday, 30 March 2026
