Lokað verður fyrir innsendingu ágripa 1. ágúst 2026

  • Ágrip verða flokkuð í málstofur
  • Hámarkslengd ágripa er 300 orð
  • Vinsamlegast fyllið út alla viðeigandi reiti

Innsend ágrip verða flokkuð í eftirfarandi málstofur:

  • Hringrásarkerfið: úrgangur, endurvinnsla og endurnýting
  • Heilbrigði á norðurhjara: heilbrigðislausnir og lyfjaþróun
  • Umhverfisbreytingar í norðri: landvernd, líffræðileg fjölbreytni og samspil manns og umhverfis
  • Matvælaframleiðsla á sjó og landi: starfshættir, nýsköpun og gæðaeftirlit
  • Menntun í smáum byggðarlögum: þekkingarsköpun, kennsluhættir og sérstaða

Here you can submit an abstract for a presentation at the FærÍska Conference, which will take place at the University of Akureyri from 6 to 8 October 2026

The deadline for abstract submission is Agust 1 2026

  • Abstracts will be assigned to thematic sessions
  • The maximum length of abstracts is 300 words
  • Please complete all relevant fields

Submitted abstracts will be categorized into the following sessions:

  • The circular economy: waste management, recycling and reprocessing in the north
  • Health in the north: health solutions and drug development
  • Environmental changes in the north: land conservation, biodiversity and the human-environmental interaction
  • Food production on land and sea: best practices, innovation, and quality control
  • Education in small communities: challenges and solutions

The maximum length of abstract is 300 words. The abstract should include: 

  • Objectives
  • Methodology
  • Key findings
  • Conclusions, where applicable
